Vancouver Hotel Workers Rally!

Hundreds of Vancouver hotel workers kicked off their contract campaign at the Hyatt yesterday with drums, chanting and a strong fighting spirit.

Joining UNITE HERE workers across North America in their fight for respect from Hyatt, Local 40 workers made it clear: we won't put up with being squeezed by Hyatt and the other big hotel chains any longer.

After rallying at the Hyatt Vancouver, Local 40 members marched to the nearby Renaissance Hotel to deliver a loud message from the street. The Renaissance is also part of the upcoming contract campaign.
